Job Purpose and work duties

Job purpose:

H is a teenager with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD and we are looking for a PA to support them within and without the home and in accessing social opportunities within the community.

Work Duties will include:

• Identify appropriate local social activities
• Supporting them in accessing those social activities as well as existing activities
• Motivating and encouraging them to take part and try new things
• Helping them to develop social skills and independence
• Some assistance and support with home studies
Other requirements
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication and rapport with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality.
• Always ensuring the safety of the child
