Personal Assistant - Kidderminster (GK)

To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

This role involves overnight support.

About the employer

We are looking to recruit (2 more personal assistants full or part time) to join a team of 6 to 7 to care for a severely disabled daughter in her own home.

Experience is not essential as training will be given. There are regular training and updates in house and when available out of house or online.

Responsibilities

• Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends.
• Attend adult day groups.
• Attend medical appointments if required.
• Attend social activities such as swimming, cinema and bowling.

Personal care

• Support with bathing/showering, teeth cleaning, dressing, administering medication, eating.
