Key Responsibilities

Permit Planning and Preparation

• Develop and prepare work permits for maintenance, project, and operational activities.
• Define work scope, location, equipment involved, tools required, and work party requirements.
• Participate in Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments, and Last Minute Risk Assessments (LMRAs).
• Ensure permits accurately reflect the work scope, hazards, controls, isolations, and required authorizations.
• Coordinate permit requirements with Operations, Maintenance, Contractors, and Specialist Signatories.
• Accept ownership of the permit for work execution in the field.
• Conduct quality pre-job discussions with all members of the work party.
