Job Summary
Inspects Regional Right-of-Way (RoW) with respect to conditions and specifications with road use, sign by-laws and encroachments. Liaise with other levels of government, telecommunication and utility companies, Regional staff and contractors to ensure coordinated services. Corresponds with Special Event Coordinators, representatives from the MTO, Police and local Municipalities, to ensure safe use of Regional roads during events and construction. Enforces Regional Road use by-laws pertaining to signs, controlled access, obstruction/fouling.
