Qualifications and Experience

required:Master’s degree in social work and member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with children, youth, and families at risk. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to be self-directed in a complex work environment.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.Experience providing evidence-informed individual and group interventions (both small and large group), with children and youth experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Experience in crisis intervention and the implementation of system-wide risk management protocols.Knowledge of the Child & Family Services Act, Education Act, Youth Criminal Justice Act and other pertinent legislation including provincial school attendance policies.Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment with students, school sta...
