We are looking for a skilled Backend Performance Testing Engineer with solid expertise in performance testing tools, system diagnostics, and database validation to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of backend systems under high load conditions.

Backend Performance Testing Engineer – Toronto, Downtown (Hybrid)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Test Execution: Design, script, and execute robust load, stress, and endurance tests using performance tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, K9).
  • Diagnostics & Tracing: Utilize Dynatrace to monitor system health, profile PurePaths, and identify memory leaks or high latency areas.
  • Database Optimization: Perform extensive backend testing by writing and executing strong SQL queries to validate data integrity, verify transactions, and check database bottlenecks under heavy traffic.
