Performance Test Engineer — Location: Toronto, Ontario

Responsibilities

• Work independently in the project for performance testing and interact with the project team.
• Design and maintain the performance test plan for Agile project releases.
• Work extensively on web-based applications and integration systems.
• Expertise in Vugen scripting on Web (TruClient, Java over Web Services (REST APIs) protocols).
• Extensive knowledge in enhancing LR scripts (correlation, error handling, custom code writing for different scenarios).
• Write logic in LR scripts using C language.
• Identify test data requirements and prepare for load tests.
• Design load test scenarios and execute tests in Performance Center / LRE.
• Identify root causes for performance bottlenecks, and communicate findings to the project team.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics.
