Peer Support Worker
The position is 22.5 hours per week and will be based in the Central Shropshire Community Mental Health Team.
The role involves working directly with an identified caseload of individuals and their carers to provide peer support, championing recovery-focused ways of working and co-designing and co-delivering recovery-orientated therapeutic groups and activities as equal partners in the development and delivery of activities.
Main duties of the job
- Work directly with an identified caseload of individuals and their carers through a range of methods including video/telephone calls, text and face-to-face sessions.
- Collaborate with identified individuals and members of the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure care plans are truly co‑produced.
