Position Summary

We are looking for a Payroll Technician for a client located on the South Shore of Montreal. This is a temporary on‑site position.

Responsibilities

• Handle all CCQ payroll processing for approximately 50 employees.
• Verify hours worked, compensation, allowances, and deductions in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Prepare required filings and reports (DAS, CCQ, FTQ, CNESST, government statements, etc.).
• Process layoffs and rehires, and maintain administrative records for employees.
• Prepare employment contracts, manage employee departures, and keep personnel files up to date.
