Payroll Specialist

Salary Range: CA$75,000.00 To CA$85,000.00 Annually

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and oversee full-cycle payroll for approximately 200 Canadian salaried and hourly employees.
• Review payroll and time batches for accuracy, completeness, approval status, and proper coding to department and job.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related inquiries, resolving issues accurately and professionally.
• Review RRSP contribution reporting and coordinate required payroll deductions, employer contributions, and related reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll information by obtaining, validating, and following up on required employee records.
• Update payroll records by reviewing approved changes to tax elections, benefits, deductions, job titles, departments, and transfers.
