Payroll Specialist
Kirklees Council is advertising this job on behalf of Together Learning Trust. Start date: ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of payroll delivery, including payroll systems, HMRC compliance, and TPS and LGPS requirements.
- Shape and lead a high-quality payroll service while driving continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation.
- Ensure payroll processes run smoothly, accurately and in line with best practice.
- Manage payroll returns and queries, maintaining robust, audit‑ready processes.
- Support further embedding and development of the payroll and pensions service, with potential leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in payroll management, with experience in payroll systems and HMRC compliance.
- Experience managing Teacher’s Pension Scheme (TPS) and Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) requirements.
