Job Description

Our client, a leading company in healthcare services, is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to cover a 12 month term, working in their busy payrolling department.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, your duties will include;

Duties

  • Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes and employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations.
  • Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations.
  • Ensures the timely processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll, including liabilities such as workers compensation, PAYG and superannuation payment.
  • Responsible for overseeing the calculating and processing of pay increases, back pays and termination payments.
  • Performs end of year processes
