Duties & Responsibilities The Payroll Specialist position encompasses the administration of wages and salaries for all staff and fixed term contractors. Should have the experience to handle payroll for over 1500 employees. Bi-weekly and monthly payroll preparations, reconciliations and payments. The preparation of tax calculations, submissions of SARS Mid-Year and Year-End tax figures, the generation of IRP5’s. All payments to third parties as well as commission for salaried staff. Ensuring that the earnings and deductions input captured in respect of payroll input is valid, accurate and complete. Ensuring that queries regarding overtime, leave, deductions and any other payroll related are identified and resolved within payroll deadlines.
