Payroll Analyst, Reston, VA($35-40/hr) Position Summary The Payroll Analyst supports U.S. payroll accounting operations by maintaining payroll-related general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, reconciling accounts, managing payroll transactions, and assisting with audits, tax filings, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities Support month-end and year-end accounting close processes.

Prepare payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations.

Resolve general ledger mapping issues and maintain payroll accounting records.

Manage payroll reports, bank reconciliation issues, and field accounting support.

Administer escheatment processes, uncashed checks, direct deposit reversals, and replacement payments.

Research payroll discrepancies, refunds, and potential fraud transactions.
