We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a busy payroll team on a Contract basis in Kitchener, Ontario. In this role, you will support payroll operations for a large unionized environment, helping to maintain accurate employee pay records and meet critical processing deadlines. This position is ideal for someone who brings strong payroll knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to work collaboratively while handling detailed administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Support payroll administrators with the preparation and review of bi-weekly payroll information for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Perform detailed calculations related to earnings, deductions, contributions, and payroll adjustments to help ensure accuracy.
• Process updates associated with paid and unpaid leaves, absences, and other employee pay changes.
