Job Title: Payroll Administrator 
Reports to: Financial Controller 
Status: Full-time, permanent
Location: Edmonton Office (On-site)
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000  
What the Job Is:
This position is responsible for the processing of the overall payroll function and the administration of benefits. 
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. This involves preparing, verifying, and issuing payments for regular pay, benefits, bonuses, vacation, and reimbursements.
  • Generate statements of earnings, ensuring all deductions are accurate. Deductions may include taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance premiums.
  • Maintain and update employee information within the payroll system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review, reconcile and remit source deductions as required. Prepare garnishments according to federal or provincial court orders.
