About The Role
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator will be part of a supportive payroll team, helping to deliver an accurate and timely monthly payroll. This role would suit someone with previous payroll experience who is comfortable working in a busy environment and enjoys working with detail and precision.
What you’ll be doing
- Inputting changes into the payroll system, including rate changes, department changes, tax codes and third‑party payments
- Calculating hours worked using time and attendance reports and importing data into the payroll system
- Checking holiday pay entitlement to ensure accuracy
- Processing payroll information to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
- Issuing electronic payslips, P45s and other payroll documentation
- Maintaining payroll records for benefits and pension purposes, including administering changes
