Job Description
We are currently hiring a Payroll Administrator to work in Mississauga, ON.
This is a direct hire position - you will be hired on as an employee directly by our client.
This position will be responsible for inputting and processing weekly payroll in-office for a Logistics company.
Salary: Up to $55,000/year based on experience
Shift: Day shifts Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Weekly payroll functions including preparation, calculation, and disbursement of wages, deductions, overtime payment, incentive earnings, and garnishments
- Verify payroll changes and timesheet data
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Process weekly/monthly third-party payments
- Create, update, maintain payroll policies and procedures
- Respond to payroll-related questions
- Assist with audits
- Maintain payroll registers and other payroll-related files
- Other duties as required
