Job Description

Mid sized government contracting company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team! This will report to the Payroll Manager and have opportunity for advancement as the company grows. Excellent compensation and benefits package!

Duties:

  • Assist with processing payroll on a regular schedule (semi-monthly & monthly).
  • Support payroll audits and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, terminations, and promotions.
  • Review and process employee expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized payroll files and documentation.
  • Assist with benefits and deductions tracking as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll -related matters.
  • Monthly review, reconciliation and authorization of payroll invoices including health benefits, 401k invoices and various other fringe benefit invoices.
