Responsibilities

• Create pattern size variations from master patterns using computer or drafting instruments.
• Examine sketches, samples, and specifications to determine number, size, and shape of pattern parts and assess the amount of cloth required.

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP, or non‑university certificate/diploma of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in pattern grading.
• Computer skills: Adobe Illustrator, MS Office.
• Specialization: Pattern design for jackets, coats, shirts, blouses, pants, sporting goods, and recreational items.
