**Patient Transporter at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.**
**Per Diem/Day Shift**
Provide transportation for patients to and from departments within the hospital as needed. Responsible for safely transporting patients using appropriate equipment, e.g., wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, etc.
MAJOR CHALLENGES:
1. Able to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, department and hospital staff in a professional and productive manner.
2. Able to work in a high-volume, high stress department with many responsibilities ranging from clerical duties to patient care.
3. Able to perform multiple job duties consistently with few errors.
4. Able to work through problematic situations that arise during the workday in a positive and productive manner.
