Join UPMC St. Margaret's Peri-Anesthesia Team as a Full-Time Patient Care Technician!
UPMC St. Margaret Hospital is currently seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Technician within our Peri-Anesthesia Department. Patient Care Technician's in this department assist the nurses with preparing patients for surgery and discharge process. Duties include, but are not limited to, obtaining vital signs, shave prep, inserting and discontinuing IV's (if applicable), EKGs, and other patient care related tasks as assigned. This position will work variable 8-hour daylight shifts of 5am-1:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, or 9am-5:30pm. Weekends and holiday's are not required in this role. Prior patient care experience and active CPR is preferred but not required.
