In this role, you will assist Registered Nurses in helping patients with hygiene, daily tasks, and social interactions. Focus on creating a therapeutic environment while participating in recreational activities and making crucial observations to support patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and assist patients with hygiene and life skills
• Report observable patient behaviors to nursing staff
• Engage in planned recreational activities
• Document patient interactions in clinical records
• Support patient escorts and assist in restraints when necessary
Requirements:
• Diploma in Personal Support or similar healthcare field
• CPR and First Aid certifications are assets
• Knowledge of support procedures and tools
