Pathology - Cytopathology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Pathologist for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital-based pathology department. This opportunity includes surgical pathology sign-out, frozen sections, and cytopathology support within a collaborative pathology team.
Assignment Details:
* ASAP start
* Ongoing coverage until permanent provider hired
* Onsite weekday coverage required
Schedule:
* Monday Friday
* 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
* Night and weekend call required
Practice Setting:
* Hospital-based pathology department
* Trauma Level II facility
* Epic EMR
Work Details:
* Surgical pathology sign-out
* Frozen section interpretation
* Rapid onsite cytology evaluation
* Cytopathology sign-out as needed
Volume Expectations:
* surgical pathology cases/day
* 3 5 cytopathology cases/day
* 2 3 FNA cases/day
Annual Department Volumes:
* 9,000 surgical pathology cases
* 1,000 cytopathology cases
* 400 FNAs
