Educational Qualification

Essential qualifications include a BE, B.Tech, or M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical Engineering, with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in the tech industry such as wireless telecom, software, or semiconductors, including patent analysis and OSS compliance. In-house experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Experience

The candidate should have between 2 to 9 years of work experience. They must be skilled in using patent search databases such as Derwent Innovation and Orbit, and familiar with analytics methodologies including novelty search, freedom to operate, invalidation, technology search, patent classification, and infringement analysis. Experience in retrieving legal and prosecution-related information from patent office websites like USPTO PAIR and EP Register is essential.
