Pastoral Support Assistant (full time, temporary) Wigan £500 - £600 per week PAYE (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start date: September 2026 The School and Role Step into a role where every day you help pupils reset, regulate, and re-engage with learning as a Pastoral Support Assistant within a specialist primary SEMH School based in Wigan. This is a key role within the school’s Support Team, a dedicated behaviour and pastoral support provision that works with pupils who have become dysregulated in class. You will support students 1:1 and in small groups, helping them de-escalate safely, reflect on behaviour, and return to learning when they are ready.
