Pastoral Lead

Role Overview

Redruth School is a successful school set in beautiful West Cornwall. We are looking to appoint a Pastoral Year Lead who is passionate, adaptable and enthusiastic about working with young people within an educational setting. In this role you will take a pro‑active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of our students, developing positive working relationships with your cohort and their families.

Responsibilities

You will support a year team of approximately 10 tutors and 300 students, challenge and support young people to ensure they reach their potential both in terms of character and academic outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Be qualified to ‘A’ level or equivalent
• Have the ability to support a year team which consists of approximately 10 tutors and 300 students
• Have experience of working with young people
