Pastoral Head of Year

Working Hours

37 hours per term, plus 1 week (40 weeks per year) – term time only.

About this Role

Provide high quality leadership of a year group, setting a strong ethos and culture of respect in line with the aims of the school. Ensure high standards of individual pastoral care — responding quickly to issues, operating effective pastoral recording, tracking and monitoring, and delivering proactive planned interventions. Support high standards of student progress and attainment, supporting the school systems established by the senior leadership team and in liaison with Faculty Leaders.

Reports to the Deputy Headteacher / Assistant Headteacher. No travel is required. Salary depends on current qualifications and experience.
