Job Description
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel, warehouse operations, and inventory within their assigned area. This includes managing quoting, procurement, logistics, shipping/receiving, delivery, and maintaining appropriate safety stock levels. They ensure inventory accuracy and routinely monitor for obsolescence and/or serviceability. The Parts Manager also ensures internal control policies and procedures are understood, implemented, and maintained. They will support employee training at their location(s) and provide report on results as required.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage parts inventory, procurement, logistics, and inventory accuracy within SAP.
- Oversee supplier relationships, pricing, warranty claims, RMAs, and cost control.
