Overview

We are seeking a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) to join our busy practice in Cork. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across accounts preparation, client management, and core tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end financial statements for companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Assist with management accounts, reconciliations, and bookkeeping
  • Support basic tax compliance: VAT returns, PAYE, and corporation tax filing
  • Liaise with clients on queries and documentation
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and audits as needed

    • Requirements

  • Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with 1–2 years’ practice experience
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero) and Excel
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
