A school local to Sutton Coldfield/Erdington is looking for a flexible teaching assistant who will work 3 days per week, covering with other part‑time staff members. As you will be working with different children each day, an adaptable individual is required.
Role Overview
- 1 day of the role is class-based within Reception.
- 1 day will be spent supporting a child in Reception with SEMH and ADHD.
- The final day will be working with a child in Year5 with ASD who can often be defiant.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level3+ Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one‑to‑one basis
- Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
- Recent primary school experience within the last 2years
