Job Description

The Receptionist reports to on site Management and is responsible for managing phone calls, greeting visitors, and performing administrative tasks at Cogir Senior Living’s retirement residences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a positive, professional manner.
  • Redirect calls as appropriate and take clear, concise messages when required.
  • Greet, assist, and direct all visitors.
  • Pick up and sort internal mail; stamp, deliver, and maintain the mail machine for external mail.
  • Prepare packages and arrange courier pick‑ups.
  • Arrange meeting room schedules and bookings.
  • Update phone and distribution lists.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well‑organized reception area.
  • Assist with small projects as required by other administrative support (e.g., labels, bulk mailing).
