Reporting to the Associate Dean, the incumbent develops and delivers courses in the Carpentry and Renovation Techniques Program. Courses may be scheduled and delivered during the day or evening at the Owen Sound Campus. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering:

  • CART 1023 – Construction Site Practices: In this course, students apply industry health and safety practices in the lab. The safe use of cutting and welding tools, and ladders and scaffolds are a principal focus. Hoisting and rigging is introduced. Students learn to readily recognize fall hazards and identify the correct control measures to protect themselves using personal fall prevention systems.
