Become a vital part of LifeLabs in Ottawa, ON, as a Part Time Lab Patient Technician. You will oversee the specimen collection process, enhancing patient experiences through quality care.
This role entails welcoming patients and managing the specimen collection journey from start to finish. You'll perform essential tasks such as phlebotomies, ECGs, and specialized testing collections. Your part-time float position will involve covering for staff on sick leave and vacation, including Saturday shifts at the Carling location every two months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and clarify collection protocols
• Execute phlebotomies and manage holter monitors
• Carry out special test collections and documentation
• Sustain client relationships and handle inquiries
