Part Time Lab Patient Technician Role

This temporary role involves working various shifts between 20 to 37.5 hours weekly. You'll greet patients, perform phlebotomies, and handle medical test collections. Additionally, you will engage with clients and ensure accurate data entry for test results while adhering to patients' privacy rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain specimen collection protocols
• Perform phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Conduct ECG tracings and special test collections
• Maintain client relationships, responding to inquiries
• Complete data entry for patient demographics
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• ECG training considered an asset
