As a Lab Patient Technician, you will greet patients, explain collection procedures, and perform duties like phlebotomies effectively. This is a part-time role requiring flexibility to cover employee absences and respond to inquiries across numerous locations including Aurora and Richmond Hill.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain specimen collection procedures
• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings with precision
• Collect and document special test specimens accurately
• Maintain client relationships and follow up on inquiries
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong computer skills with 40 wpm typing
