Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, the part time Facility Operator will be required to assume a variety of day‑to‑day operations and maintenance responsibilities, working at any of our municipal recreation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing all aspects of day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of recreation facilities, including providing direction to part‑time staff in the absence of full‑time operators.
• Monitoring and logging arena and/or swimming pool operating equipment in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Maintaining ice surfaces and swimming pool water quality.
• Assisting with facility preventative maintenance program.
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility at all times.
