Job Description

  • Unload freight from trailers and load outbound trailers using electronic devices.
  • Mark materials with identifying information
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
  • Count and on occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the shipper's bill of lading
  • Starts heaters, placard trailers as required
  • Arranges freight in specified sequence for maximum usage of trailer space
  • Must take an active role in safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage of dunnage, etc.
  • Typical Hours will be 10:00pm - 4:00am (5 days a week starting Sunday night 10:00pm).
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Forklift Certificate and Forklift experience needed
  •  WHIMS/Dangerous Goods Certificate (These items are covered with in-house training programs)
