Enhance pediatric asthma care at Hennick Humber Hospital as a Part-Time Certified Asthma Educator in the Maternal & Child Program. Engage in patient education and Spirometry testing to improve outcomes.
In this role, you'll be pivotal in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to pediatric clients suffering from asthma and other lung diseases. Collaborate in evaluating clinic operations, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure standard procedures are followed. This role requires expertise in electronic medical records, strong communication abilities, and a clear understanding of respiratory assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate processes and workflow for clinic improvement
• Perform Spirometry tests and educate patients' families
• Maintain calibrations on Spirometry and monitoring equipment
• Keep accurate therapy records through electronic medical records
