Description of Primary Duties
Serve as an intake person for students in crisis, chronic, or emerging situations that compromise the students ability to be academically successful.Collaborates with the Coordinator of Student Care and Support to implement non-clinical interventions to provide follow up care, support, and resources for students who have challenges with academic, physical and mental health, wellness, conduct, safety or their general welfare or may be at risk of being retained if they are otherwise not provided for.Maintains a system for following up with students who have been referred to campus or community resources. Provides follow-up services to encourage compliance with recommendations.Attends weekly Behavioral Intervention Team meetings and coordinates referrals and support services for students brought up in these meetings.
