Part-Time Assistant Athletic Coach

Job Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:Under the direction of the assigned Administrator an Assistant Coach provides comprehensive support for the designated sports program, as well as assisting with instruction and leadership. The position includes responsibility for assisting the Head Coach with the recruitment of student athletes, assisting in operations related to the program, as well as supporting the head coach in practices and games, team scheduling, programming, and public relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:

The duties of the Assistant Athletic Coach may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Understand and abide by the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) rules and regulations that govern intercollegiate athletics at the community college level.

Adhere to the Compton College policies and procedures in conformity with the requirements of the 3C2A.
