Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
Develop 12 weeks of course content related to scenic design for live performance to be delivered in person through lectures, readings, discussions, presentations, and other assessments.
Build the online course space in Brightspace.
Grade assessments (student presentations, design assignments, essays/written work, participation/ discussions) and provide timely feedback to students.
This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for teaching and grading one section of THEA Stage Design 2b, from January 1 to April 30, 2027 (Winter Term 2027), as follows:
The instructor will work closely with faculty and teaching staff in the Stage Design and Technical Theatre program to coordinate curriculum requirements. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
