Job Description
Duties include full responsibility for delivery and administration of teaching duties (lecture prep and delivery according to course syllabus; exam prep, delivery, and marking; TA supervision, etc.) for PHYC 4505 – Atmospheric Physics (Winter 2027).
Moist thermodynamics is applied to a variety of atmospheric phenomenon. These include aerosols, cloud droplets, precipitation formation, convection, supercells, hurricanes, lightning, and the boundary layer. Radar equation is discussed and radar images are interpreted.
Lectures: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Reasonable office hours should be available to students.
Position reports to the Chair of the Department of Physics & Atmospheric Science.
