Provides advanced life support for critically ill/injured patients at the scene and during transport as part of the transport team.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes the ill or injured patient during interfacility and intrafacility as part of the transport team in collaboration with the transport physician and/or Registered Nurse.
  • Initiates and implements interventions based on transport team protocols. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition and treatment, as appropriate.
