Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years.
• Work setting: Various locations.
• Transportation: Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces for painting.
• Repair cracks and holes.
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
• Erect scaffolding, swing stages and attach rigging.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Brush painting, roller painting, drywall taping and patching.

Technical Skills and Physical Requirements

• Equipment and machinery experience.
• Surface preparation experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish colours.
• Weight handling up to 23kg (50lb).
