Location: HMP Channings Wood, Greenhill Ln, Denbury, Newton Abbot, TQ12 6DW

Salary: £30,656.92 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time – 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Channings Wood, a category C Adult/Male prison, to support the Facilities Maintenance Team in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• An honest and reliable character who can approach their work with purpose and pace
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills
