**Job Title:** Packaging Machine Operator
**Location:** Onsite in Mt. Vernon, OH
**Type:** Contract to Hire
**Schedule:** Nights, 12-hour shifts (6:00pm – 6:00am), 2-2-3 rotation
**Pay Rate:** $18.50 per hour
**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join our production team in Mt. Vernon, OH. This position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, working nights. The primary responsibilities include packaging, cleaning, and providing coverage during breaks, primarily in the production area.
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Package finished goods and operate bagger equipment
+ Spot outbound trucks into material load docks and ensure proper dock-locks
+ Reclaim off-quality materials and refeed to the production line
+ Perform general cleanup (sweeping, blowing down lines, cleaning break rooms, etc.)
+ Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes
+ Execute special tasks as assigned by plant staff
