Package Handler Trainer-1

Overview

Load and unload freight, scan and sort freight within the facility, and transport freight within and between facilities.

Train other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler (Preferred)
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (Preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Valid G license and a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English and French)
• Class 5 Driver's License
• Shift: 04:00 AM to 11:00 AM
