Job Description

The Overnight Houseperson role maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas of the hotel and supports the housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains professional internal/external guest service: smiles, creates eye contact, and uses employee/guest names.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the guest corridors, pool deck, and service areas and back of house associate areas, including washrooms and change rooms.
  • Cleans the pool and pool change rooms.
  • Cleans housekeeping storerooms, elevator foyer areas, parking & elevators.
  • Handles guest and Room Attendant requests (i.e. towels, supplies), and offers all possible assistance.
  • Picks up and delivers supplies from receiving to the storeroom, stocks the storeroom and linen closets.
  • Reports maintenance deficiencies and unsafe working conditions.
  • Assists with cleaning of the hotel restaurant as needed.
