Support the vision of the Assembly of First Nations as an Executive Assistant in Economic Development, centrally located in Ottawa, Ontario. Your organizational skills will be crucial in supporting the Director.
The permanent full-time Executive Assistant position involves direct collaboration with the Director, handling various administrative responsibilities. Tasks include organizing travel, managing communications, and ensuring that all deadlines are met while addressing sensitive matters appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and manage the Director’s appointments
• Draft and finalize correspondence and meeting documentation
• Coordinate cross-divisional travel plans and logistics
• Serve as the main contact for external engagements
• Provide support for Chiefs-in-Assembly planning
